Where the last rays of the sun touch the earth in the evening, in the extreme west of the Goriške Brd, in the small village of Neblo, where Slovenia borders Italy, lies a family farm, where generations of the Zanut family preserve the noble skill of the mysterious creation of a noble drop.
Each wine has its own character, each one has its own story, but all of them, without exception, carry a message about the people who care for them and the region from which they originate. About the vines, about the marshy earth that nourishes them, the hot sun that caresses them and the wind: the warm breeze that brings greetings from the sea and the storm that strengthens them.
As a reflection of the terroir, all the wines are extremely mineral and warm, round and bold, full of solar energy. All our wines are produced exclusively from high-quality grapes from our vineyards.The grapes ripen to full maturity, for some wines even to overripeness. The grapes are harvested by hand into crates, taking care not to damage the grapes. We are not in a hurry with the harvest and we usually start quite late, when the grapes are fully ripe, and we finish at the end of October with the harvest in Brjač.
Vineyards are very important to us, so we pay special attention to them. We grow grapes and wine in a nature-friendly way. We are included in the system of integrated production. We are aware that only the best grapes can produce great wines - WINES WITH CHARACTER.
