The wine is golden in colour with amber hues, which is a testimony to the prolonged contact of the must with the strawberry skins. The bouquet is surprisingly rich for a rebula, with notes of gooseberry and blackcurrant and delicate notes of pine resin and fine wood. On the palate it is very dry, with a hint of tannins and a salty, delicious character full of life.
Late harvest, with the start of fermentation in large tanks with natural yeasts. The silent fermentation ends in wooden barriques, where the wine is matured on its own sediment, without any flow. In this way, the wine completes all its natural processes and becomes naturally stable, ready to last one lifetime.
Aged for 2 years in 225 l French oak.
