The colour, indicating the ripening years, is a deeper garnet, almost brownish. The bouquet is unmistakably blue pinot, with delicate notes of leather, undergrowth, earthy notes, which together create an exceptional olfactory experience. On the palate it is dry, with a bold measure of silky tannins and just the right amount of acidity to lift its character and give it longevity.
Late harvest, with the start of fermentation in large tanks with natural yeasts.Maceration takes 3 to 4 weeks, or until the end of fermentation. The silent fermentation is completed in wooden barriques, where the wine is matured on its own sediment, without any flow. In this way, the wine completes all its natural processes and becomes naturally stable, ready to last one lifetime.
The wine has been aged for 4 years in 225 l French oak.
