With maceration, the point has acquired a new focus, a new meaning, a new life. The extraordinary is expressed in the perfect harmony between the alcohol and the acid, although here a third partner, the tannins, intervenes in the relationship between the two. The body is bold but supple, probably due to the ingenious relationship between the varieties that make up the genre, sauvignonass, rebula and malvasia. The appearance betrays maceration, but not oxidation, the slow tears reveal the fullness of the wine, the bouquet is pleasant, still fresh in spring, inviting. On the palate it shows minerality, ripeness, fruitiness. The aftertaste is long, but the desire for the next bunch overtakes its decline. This extremely drinkable wine is the perfect accompaniment to chats over small snacks (roasted nuts, savoury pastries), but it also finds its place at a celebratory meal.
Poanta m is a wine with aristocratic flavours. It is accompanied by caviar on buttered blini, raw prawn butts, gratinated scallops, rich fish soup, lobster claws and oriental spiced risottos and meat dishes, including spicy grilled chicken wings.
