A cuvee produced from the best of the steep vineyard vines (Hen's brake) from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvingon and Pinot Noir. Late hand-harvesting followed by 10 days maceration at temperatures up to 28°C in inox tanks, followed by maturation in 1100l oak barrels for 18 months and then another 6 months in bottle.
The origins of the BELICA homestead date back to 1898, when the name BELICA first appeared with the birth of Granpa Pepo. His mother nicknamed him "Beličca" because of his bright, white hair, and soon BELICA became a household name. The BELICA homestead is located in the village of Medana, in the heart of the wine-growing region Brda, with a magnificent view from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea.
