A cuvee produced from the best of the steep vineyard vines (Breg) of Yellow Rebula, Sauvignonasse and Chardonnay. Late hand-harvest, followed by 10 days maceration at temperatures up to 28°C in inox containers, followed by maturation for 12 months in inox containers, then 18 months in 600l acacia barrels and a further 6 months in bottle.
The origins of the BELICA homestead date back to 1898, when the name BELICA first appeared with the birth of Granpa Pepo. His mother nicknamed him "Beličca" because of his bright, white hair, and soon BELICA became a household name. The BELICA homestead is located in the village of Medana, in the heart of the wine-growing region Brda, with a magnificent view from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea.
