The wine has an intense ruby red color with an aroma dominated by the scent of red berries. It has a fruity taste and a pleasant acidity with a gentle tannin structure. After the hand harvest, the grapes were hand-picked, macerated for at least 8 days (the first two days at 10 ° C so that they retained more fruitfulness), and later poured into stainless steel tanks where they underwent biological deacidification.
Only by understanding the vine, the climate, its habitat on steep vineyards, can we produce the top quality grapes that are the basis for our wines.
Our wines are stylistically and technically sophisticated, but at the same time they have a personal, unique touch that comes from a love of nature and a passion for winemaking, and only such wines can bear the signature of Matjaž Četrtič.
