The colour is a deeper, ruby purple. The flower is more pronounced, spicy, varietal. There is a plethora of spices around the black pepper and floral notes, a fragrant, ripe wine, without green pyrazine notes. The character of the maturation in new barrels is noticeable, but beautifully brought out. On the palate, the wine is dry, with medium tannins and acidity, the common thread on the palate being the spicy Cabernet Franc notes.
