A pale yellow color wine with golden hues and a complex aroma, in which we can find herbs and ripe yellow fruit. It fells full bodied, very mineral and as it was on the nose fruity and herbal. Due to its structure, it will pair nicely with cured meat products or freshwater/seafood food. After the manual harvest, the fermentation took place in 500-liter oak barrels in which the wine matured for 12 months on fine lees.
Only by understanding the vine, the climate, its habitat on steep vineyards, can we produce the top quality grapes that are the basis for our wines.
Our wines are stylistically and technically sophisticated, but at the same time they have a personal, unique touch that comes from a love of nature and a passion for winemaking, and only such wines can bear the signature of Matjaž Četrtič.
