Nando

Andrej Kristančič has been producing Nando brand wine on his farm for almost 25 years. He decided at a young age to follow the path of winemaking started by his great-grandfather Nando. He studied winemaking at the Secondary Agricultural School, which allowed him to develop his own personal approach to winemaking. In one person, Andrej combines care, knowledge and, above all, dedication to the land of Briška, to the production and processing of grapes in a nature-friendly way, which is reflected in his wine.

There are two different lines of Nando's brand wine:
Blue label – the wines are matured in stainless tanks after being in contact with the strawberry skin for 12 hours to a maximum of 8 days. After 10 months, the wine is bottled and goes on the market.
Black label – the wines are matured by spontaneous fermentation in oak barrels after being in contact with the strawberry skins for 7 to 30 days. The wine remains in oak barrels for at least 18 months, depending on the vintage. These are the so-called "orange" wines, which have a particularly ripe aroma and intense color.
