The wine is a deep ruby red colour with muted purple
shades of purple. The density and slowness of the wine sloshes over the side of the glass,
indicates its fullness. The unusual bouquet is reminiscent of violets and pepper,
spices with a hint of the night of the mysterious Orient, the leather of a horse's saddle,
of the bicycle, of pomegranate jam. On the palate, it develops into a ripe wine with a youthful
energy, pleasantly fruity and spicy, with firm yet soft tannins.
The aftertaste is long, mineral, tannic and moderately spicy throughout.
Vinification: pressing after 3 weeks of maceration in a vinifier
Ageing of the wine: maturation in French barriques for 12 months
