Rebula Opoka

The Opoka is one of the best wine lines in Slovenia ( especially for the white wines ) and can easily be placed alongside wines of a world-renowned format and reputation. The wine is reminiscent of the brilliant old gold color, incredibly clean given that no filtration was used (a natural decantation process was used ). Its bouquet is intense, full with an emphasis on its minerality, given by the unique soil in Goriška Brda, Opoka. On the palate the wine feels creamy, oily with a full body, harmonious and balanced, but still retains its freshness and minerality. This is a wine with a very long and full departure and try to keep it in the cellar for a year or more, so that you will realize its full maturing potential.
