As a result of a week long maceration, full ripeness of grapes and five years of aging in big oak barrels, it is of a deep amber and orange colour. On the nose is very complesive - ripe, rich and varied, reminiscent of dried apricots, dried flowers and spices. Great balance of tannin and acidity and long, full and very mineral taste.
Our farm dates back to 1890, when our great-grandfather Peter Blažič bought the farm and, appropriately for the location, dedicated it to viticulture and fruit-growing. Today, three generations live and work on the farm, where we bottled for the first time in 1993. We conscientiously follow the idea of nature-friendly production of both grapes and wine; in practice, this means that the most important work is done in the vineyard, where most of the quality is born, and which is then harvested in the cellar through conscientious cellaring.
