The wine cellar Simčič has been preserved to this day. The current owner Karol and his sons Marijan and Igor together cultivate 50 hectares of terraced vineyards at an altitude of 150-300m above sea level, where elegant white wines such as Rebula, Pinot Pinot Pinot, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Sauvignon mature.Among the red wines are merlot, cabernet sauvignon and the king of red wines refoski. Goriška Brda has been proud of its viticulture and winemaking since the Roman Empire.
