Over the centuries, Brda has been intertwined with a cultural heritage that is visible today: from the cultivated landscape, the characteristic architecture of villages and castles, to the many ethnological curiosities of people of Brda, the customs and habits, and the distinctive speech. The Brda region is mostly cultivated with vineyards and orchards, and the nature researcher will discover many interesting facts about the geological, climatic, botanical and other peculiarities of this unspoilt nature.
All over the hills of Brda there are villages, some clustered like birds' nests, others scattered along the ridges, all surrounded by the greenery of vineyards and orchards, with roads, paths and trails winding between them.
