Leonardo

Due to the production process, the sweet Leonardo wine is a specialty of our wine house. The wine is produced from 5000 kg exceptional, late-harvested and selected Rebula grapes, which are then dried in wooden boxes for another seven months. In this process, the grapes lose more than 90% of their original weight, increasing both the sugar level and the acid level. A light amber color wine, which predicts an extremely rich body and aroma ( which ranges from vanilla, honey, dried fruit to lemon blossom, walnuts and light tobacco ...). On the palate the wine feels silky and oily, the aromas are repeated in the taste with emphasis on apricot jam and has an exceptional harmony between sugars and acidity. The wine departure is really impressive and we almost get the feeling that it doesn’t want to leave us.
